The Rupto rate
Rupto reads the USDT/INR rate from CoinGecko every 60 seconds. That rate — to the paisa — is what your conversion uses. Open the homepage to see the current rate live:

We add a single flat 0.8% on top. No hidden spread, no "platform fee" that scales with amount. A 100 USDT conversion and a 100,000 USDT conversion both pay the same 0.8% of the INR value.
USDT to INR vs the exchange route
Off-ramping USDT to INR via a centralised exchange (CoinDCX, WazirX, Binance P2P) usually means:
- List a sell order or accept a P2P buyer's bid (5–60 minutes of haggling)
- Effective spread of 5-8% vs the global rate
- Bank withdrawal queue of 1–3 days; sometimes flagged and held longer
- Occasional account freezes from the bank's compliance team
Rupto's path: confirm in the app → USDT debited → Cashfree payout fires → INR in the recipient's UPI in minutes. End to end, single-digit minutes for a routine payment.
Settling to your own UPI
The fastest "USDT to INR to my bank" workflow is to enter your own UPI ID as the payee on scan-pay. Cashfree credits the target UPI ID like any normal P2P UPI transfer. The funds land in whichever bank account that UPI ID points at.
For larger amounts, split across multiple smaller settlements — the per-payment cap (set in admin settings, default ₹20,00,000) is well above day-to-day needs but still enforced.

What is the USDT to INR rate today?
Rupto displays the live USDT/INR rate from CoinGecko, updated every 60 seconds. You can see the current rate at the top of the landing page in the Live rate tile. The rate you see at the moment you tap Confirm is the rate that's locked for your payment — no spread widening at checkout.
How is this different from a crypto exchange?
On an exchange (WazirX, CoinDCX, Binance P2P), converting USDT to INR means listing a sell order, waiting for a buyer match, then waiting for INR to land in your bank account — often 1-3 days end-to-end, with a 5-8% effective spread. Rupto skips the order book entirely: USDT debits internally, INR pays out over UPI through Cashfree (an RBI-authorised PA-PG) in minutes.
What fee does Rupto charge to convert USDT to INR?
Flat 0.8% on top of the live CoinGecko rate. No spread widening, no monthly subscription, no per-network surcharge. A 1,000 USDT conversion at ₹83 lands ₹82,336 in the recipient's UPI (after 0.8% of the equivalent INR).
Can I convert USDT to INR to my own bank account?
Yes — simply enter your own UPI ID as the payee on the scan-pay screen. Cashfree settles to any UPI ID, including your personal Paytm, PhonePe, GPay, or bank-linked VPA. The funds land in the bank account linked to that UPI ID, exactly as if a friend had paid you over UPI.
Which USDT networks can I send from?
Ethereum (ERC-20) and BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20). BEP-20 is recommended because the on-chain gas to deposit is near-zero. Solana and Tron deposit addresses are shown in the dashboard for future support — please don't send to those yet.
